The revolver features a 4 3/4" octagon barrel, rosewood grips, spur trigger, six shot cylinder, and a blue'd finish. William P. Uhlinger produced about 10,000 rimfire cartridge revolvers (two types in .22 caliber and one type in .32 caliber) in Philadelphia, PA between 1861 and 1865.

A very nice example of an Uhlinger, 6 shot, short cylinder, small frame revolver, serial #2000. The top of the barrel is marked “J.P. Lower,” a very well known arms dealer in Denver, Colorado. This beautiful revolver was once in the Frank Sellers’ collection. This one is complete having the gate and the original cleaning rod. That one is always missing due to the fact that it is held in place by two cups and is not attached. The gate is held by a tiny screw and that part is usually gone.

Revolver has a 4.00 inch octagon.32 barrel that retains 85% of the original blue. Top flat is strongly stamped “W. L. GRANT” on a slight slant. Bore is good but dirty.
